Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc, said that the US tech giant will partner with China's Tsinghua University to create a joint research center that will focus on advanced technologies, including machine learning and computer vision.
美國(guó)科技巨頭蘋(píng)果公司首席執(zhí)行官蒂姆·庫(kù)克日前表示，蘋(píng)果將和中國(guó)的清華大學(xué)合作成立聯(lián)合研究中心，專注于機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)和計(jì)算機(jī)視覺(jué)等先進(jìn)技術(shù)研究。
The company also will donate 25 million yuan to the China Development Research Foundation, as part of its efforts to help students in the nation's less-developed areas, Cook said at the China Development Forum in Beijing.
庫(kù)克在北京舉行的中國(guó)發(fā)展論壇上還表示，作為幫助中國(guó)貧困地區(qū)學(xué)生的部分努力，蘋(píng)果還將向中國(guó)發(fā)展研究基金會(huì)捐贈(zèng)2500萬(wàn)元。
The money will be used to support the foundation's digitalization program and "help more than 300,000 students from kindergarten to middle school in less-developed areas to find a way out of poverty," Cook said.

"Creative developers and innovators are the future, and we need to nurture the students of today," Cook said.

According to him, products made in China have been sold to the world and ideas born here will also have a bigger global impact in the future.
